For many years now, our Junior and Senior Infant pupils have been experiencing the rich benefits of the Aistear programme. The is a structured framework that uses four interconnected themes to describe children’s learning and development: Wellbeing, Identity and Belonging, Communicating, and Exploring and Thinking. The children are encouraged to engage in structured play and it is wonderful to see them growing and developing in confidence, while developing a host of skills.
