Board of Management

The Patron of Ballygown National School is the Roman Catholic Bishop of Cloyne. The school is run by a Board of Management, which was elected in November 2019 for a four year period, with reference to the Rules for National Schools and in accordance with the provisions of the Education Act (1998). The Board is obliged to meet at least once each school term, and at least five times each year. The composition of the Board of Management is as follows:
