Movie magic cast a spell in December 2020 as Ballygown screened our very own production at the Gate Cinema in Mallow. As we could not stage our usual annual Christmas Concert to a full hall of proud parents, we reinvented the concert and recorded the whole performance in bite-size pieces (to keep everyone C-19 safe) and stitched them all together to make a blockbuster movie. The staff at the Gate Cinema were fantastic and with five screens at our disposal for each of our classroom bubbles, all that remained was to ensure there were enough treats to last the whole show. The movie stars all had a ball and so enjoyed the experience of seeing themselves on the big screen. Such is their immense talent, we can safely guarantee we’ll see them on the red carpet again very soon. Congratulations children. You were fantastic!
